Scott Smith lives, writes, and balances preschoolers in Richmond, Virginia. He earned an MFA in Poetry from the Bennington Writing Seminars in 2010 and a BA in English from the University of Lynchburg in 2008. He currently teaches at J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College. Scott has previously taught at the Art Institute of San Antonio, the Art Institute of Houston, Lone Star College, Houston Community College, Southern New Hampshire University, and the Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service. He has previously served a Poetry Editor of the Tishman Review, Bitslope, and Editor in Chief of the Bennington Review. Scott’s poems have appeared in Specter and Julocalypse. He’s in a constant state of revision for a poetry collection. He’s probably double-fisting kombucha and espresso right now.
