Write your Free Response, providing detailed information about yourself, including any relevant tutoring or teaching experience, degrees, licenses, and certifications, educational history, mailing address, hourly rate, and travel radius for in-person lessons. It is important to be specific about your experience. Personalize your profile. It’s a good practice to upload a photo, create an eye-catching headline, and include information about your education and certifications in the appropriate fields. Read and agree to the Independent Tutor Agreement. Verify your email address. Once your application is approved, your profile will become active and you'll be ready to tutor any subject in which you've gained approval.

Online lessons take place in an interactive, digital classroom. They include video, audio and a chat feature for direct communication with your tutor and a shared whiteboard for viewing documents, plotting functions or working out equations.

To find tutors who offer lessons using the online tool, select the “Online Tutoring” option when searching for tutors.

Yes, tutors and students can share their screens during online lessons. We are using Zoom for online tutoring and zoom screen share can be easily used during the lesson.

When you schedule an online lesson with a student outside of your timezone, you should schedule that lesson in your own timezone. Our system will adjust the time on the student's end so it appears in their timezone.

Currently only one tutor and one student may join a lesson using the online tool at the same time.
